Prerequisite
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR ADMISSION INTO THE M.S. STATISTICS PROGRAM, AN APPLICANT MUST DEMONSTRATE EACH OF THE FOLLOWING:
Successful completion of one year of the applicant's Ph.D. program
Evidence of earning a B or better in the following courses:
Calculus
Calculus-based probability
Calculus-based statistics
Linear algebra
Strong performance on the Quantitative portion of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
A personal statement discussing the reasons why the applicant is pursuing a M.S. in Statistics
Letter of recommendation written by the applicant's Ph.D. Supervisor
Support of both the Ph.D. program's Graduate Adviser and the applicant's Ph.D Supervisor.
