1. Statement of Purpose (required)
Upload a Statement of Purpose here. Your Statement of Purpose should describe how your professional and academic background has prepared you to pursue an advanced degree at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Outline your reasons for undertaking your degree program, your future plans and why you've chosen NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Statements should be 12pt font and no more than two pages, double-spaced, in length.
2. As part of your application, you are required to provide a response to the two questions indicated below.
A video response is highly preferred (maximum 2 minutes in length), however if video recording is not accessible to you, you may submit a written response (limited to two-pages, double spaced, 12pt font).
This is an opportunity for you to give us a stronger sense of who you are as a person. Your submission is an extension of your application and you should use your own voice. We get many submissions of people reading our website back to us or following the format of other applicants. Don’t do that! Use this as an opportunity for your personality to come through.

2.Describe a major challenge faced by cities today that has affected you personally or that you are passionate about. How do you feel this program will prepare you to solve this problem?
