Prerequisite
Applicants should have a strong quantitative background, including coursework in multivariable calculus, linear algebra, microeconomic theory, and probability and statistics; applicants should also have some coursework or experience in computer programming. This coursework or experience does not have to be completed by the time of applying to the program but should be completed before classes start. Coursework in advanced mathematics beyond calculus and in economic theory would be excellent additional preparation.
