Personal Statement
All applicants will be required to write a personal statement covering their career plans, background information from their life, why they believe MPM will help satisfy their career objectives, and which courses they are most interested in and why.
Short answer essay:
1. In 200 words or less, please explain why you are interested in your chosen specialization.
Optional Essay
In engineering, diversity of thought and perspectives can lead to innovative solutions and breakthroughs. Reflect on an instance where you collaborated with individuals from diverse backgrounds or worked on a team with varying expertise. How did this diversity enhance the problem-solving process, and what did you learn about the significance of inclusion in engineering projects? How will you actively promote diversity and inclusivity within your future engineering career?

Prerequisite
Applicants should have an undergraduate degree in engineering or architecture, but individuals with quantitatively based degrees and/or appropriate work experience will be given serious consideration, provided certain basic engineering, science, and mathematics requirements are satisfied in addition to the stated requirements of the program.
