伦斯勒理工学院(Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute,简称 RPI)成立于1824年，校园面积为296英亩。位于美国东北部纽约州的特洛伊（Troy）。小城依山傍水，古朴宁静，紧邻纽约州首府Albany，交通十分便利，临近首府Albany，距纽约、波士顿仅有三至三个半小时车程。伦斯勒理工学院是全美最早的工科大学，二战期间是美国军队的重要研究机构和教育机构。
