What are the life experiences that have prompted your commitment to public or community service? Can you identify how that commitment has shaped and is connected to past professional and community endeavors? (200 words maximum)

We have all had unique experiences in life. Sometimes those experiences, whether positive or negative, help define our perspective. Please share an experience or personal history that has shaped your view on diversity. Diversity includes, but is not limited to: race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, and physical abilities. And how that perspective would enrich the educational experience of your peers and the SIPA community. (250 words maximum)

This optional essay will allow you to discuss any issues that do not fall within the purview of the required essays. Please share any additional information about yourself that you believe would be of interest to the Admissions Committee. PS: 指明自己的研究方向，并且以此为基础打造一套职业发展路径，一般都是回采用一些热门话题，国内的，或者因地制宜谈论纽约的，能够引起共鸣并且合理的思路，没有太多的preference或者限制
第二和第三essay主要就是focus个人经历的部分，这个部分也是发挥和加分项的主要来源，真实经历为主，惊醒一些包装，因为项目是非常喜欢较长时间的工作经历的，所以在这里体现，如果是相关方向会非常加分
Optional essay是否提交需谨慎，如果有另外的真是上面三个essay没有提到的，可以提交，建议尽量不要提及和之前essay差不多方向的内容，这会给人很不好的观感

The MPA degree program is best suited for young professionals holding a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant work or substantive internship experience.
