Capstone Project
The Capstone Project in Technology, People, and Policy is a hands-on, final course designed to bridge academic learning with real-world tech policy practice. Students are placed in one of four sectors—tech industry, research labs, non-profits, or government offices—where they work on a relevant, practical tech policy project. Throughout the course, students engage in weekly class sessions to discuss their progress, share insights, and receive feedback from faculty and peers. By applying concepts and frameworks from the curriculum, students refine their projects, which culminate in a final presentation to the MTEPP community, showcasing their contributions and learning.

西北大学NWU教育与社会政策学院最近刚收到100万美元巨额捐赠,也同时立即开设25Fall新项目MTePP技术、人才和政策硕士,旨在探讨新兴技术很大程度上不受监管的增长问题,重点关注道德、环境影响、人类发展和政策。该项目为跨学科学习,学生可从技术知识、人类发展、社会政策、伦理等多个角度看台问题。学生也将参与现实世界的课程项目,积累实践经验,为各类职业生涯做准备,包括制定分析技术政策、研究人工智能伦理、研究人机交互等西北MTePP已获得STEM认证,可在1年内完成full-time的学习,包括6门必修课程、3门选修课程和1门capstone。学费为$60,000美金。
