持有演艺学院颁发之相关荣誉学士；或持有演艺学院认可的专上学院所颁发之相关学士；或与上述水平相等之学历
持演艺学院颁发之音乐 (荣誉) 学士，而其最后一学年之主修科平均绩点须不低於 3.3，课程整体平均绩点须不低於 2.7；或持演艺学院认可的专上学院所颁发之相关音乐学士，而其荣誉等级须不低於二级甲等，或本科平均成绩不低於乙级；或
由演艺学院或其认可的专上学院所颁发、与上述水平相等之学历；及
申请主修西乐演奏，指挥 (西乐) 及作曲者，如其获颁授学士的院校非以英 语为教学语言，申请者须於雅思考试 (IELTS) 学术类测试总分考获 6.0 或以上的成绩;或於托福考试 (TOEFL iBT)(须於演艺学院认可之试场应考) 考获 78 分或以上之成绩。
申请主修中乐演奏及指挥 (中乐) 者，如其获授学士的院校并非以中文为教学语言，须达到一定水平的中文理解及书写能力。Bachelor's (Honours) degree in relevant discipline from the Academy; or Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline from a recognised institution; or another qualification of equivalent standard from the Academy or from another recognised institution
Bachelor of Music (Honours) from the Academy with a final year GPA of 3.3 or above in the Major and an overall programme GPA of 2.7 or above; or
Bachelor's degree in Music from a recognised institution, normally with honours not lower than Second Class (upper division), or an average grade not lower than B in undergraduate courses; or
Other qualification of equivalent standard from the Academy or from another recognised institution.
For Western Music Performance, Conducting (Western Orchestras) and Composition Majors, Band 6 or above in IELTS Academic Test, or 78 or above in TOEFL iBT (from a test centre recognised by the Academy), if the undergraduate degree is obtained from an institution where the medium of instruction is not English.
Applicants applying for a Major Study in Performance (Chinese Instruments) or Conducting (Chinese Orchestras) whose entrance qualification has not been obtained from an institution where the medium of instruction is Chinese are required to demonstrate a satisfactory level of Chinese comprehension and writing skills.

音乐硕士课程旨在装备学生成为具备本 地及国际协作能力和音乐艺术视野，而 又注重实践反思和创意的专业音乐演奏 家、指挥家或作曲家。学生可主修演奏、 指挥或作曲及选择其中的专科。音乐硕 士课程是一个两年全日制 60 学分的课 程;专修中乐指挥的学生可申请以兼读 形式於 3-4 年内修读课程。
