graduated from an honours programme of a recognized university with a bachelor's degree, normally achieving an average grade of not lower than "B"; or
completed a course of study in a tertiary educational institution and obtained professional or similar qualifications equivalent to an honours degree.
In particular:
applicants should normally possess an honours degree in English or a language-related field. Applicants with a good honours degree in subjects other than English may also be considered. All applicants must satisfy the Graduate Panel that they have an adequate standard of English and have a strong interest in Literary Studies
